What do you never want to do again?
Stuck in Boston for the weekend for work. Staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Newton MA. Highlight of my day so far in planning a trip to Roatan. January 24th can’t come soon enough, leaving on a jet plane don’t know when I’ll be back again. Cheers to the start of a new year early. I am going to start mine today, I never have been a follow the crowd anyway.
So I might have fallen off the blog band wagon for awhile but I think that I am back. I just got back from Destin, FL on vacation. Wonderful beach time with the family and faboulous time at the Fisherman’s Warf. I am in Michigan this week and the rain seems to be neverending. This weather makes me want to crawl back in bed and read a good book. Speaking of, I just started reading SWIM TO ME! Wonderful novel about one girls journey to becoming a mermaid at Weeki Wachee. As the ecomony gets rougher and the job market gets tougher its hard to not imagine packing a bikini and the people closest to me and calling this rat race quits.
Charlotte, NC. Beautiful city. I have spent the majority of my time this week thus far working on my art work for ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY. This weeks topic is FIERCE. I am excited to enter my first work into this weekly challenge.
I might have slept in today. Opps. Must have been that long over jammed weekend that did me in. Back to the old grind today.
I’m not sure what it is about this week, but I have had a recently plethora of friends surfacing from my past. Maybe is the karma I am drawing towards myself threw reading EAT PRAY LOVE be Liz Gilbert. Reconnecting with people is like finding your forgotten favorite pair of jeans in the back of your closet. You totally forgot about them but once you put them on you rediscover how good they really are.
Im in shoot i forgot the name of the city Im in. Give me a moment to look it up…Helena, MT. Thank goodness for my itinerary or I would just be in another ballroom not even knowing where I am. The best part of my day was showering and feeling clean. Yesterday I stayed at the nastiest (not sure if thats a real word) Motel ever. Gross gross gross. So yea I would love to say that my life was exciting and I explored this wonderful city but the truth is, I didn’t. The only thing that I really wanted today was a polish change and apparently they dont do that in Montana, wierd. Thanks to Illustration Friday I am a little inspried to submit some of my mermaid drawings to thier weekly contest. So thank you Illustartion Friday for being the biggest thing that happened to me today.
After having terrible night in one of the worst hotel rooms in the US I found some solitude at the pilaties class at Gold’s Gym, in Great Falls MT. I had a picnic lunch by myself at the town square next to a bronze cow boy on a horse. I curowsed in Amazing Toys and Dragonfly Dry Goods, resisting the kitchy toys and trendy clothes. After strolling the streets of the small town I visited Giant Springs Heritage State Park. Viewing the largest spring in the country made me have an instinctive urge to jump in and swim a few laps. I resisted and tookd a few snap shots instead. The fish hatchery was pretty interesting, I would recommed being there before 4:30 to have an opprotunity to feed them, the cost is $.05.
Two hundred years ago Lewis and Clark explored Great Falls, and today I witnessed the same beautiful landscapes. The Missouri River was full of power and force today, I ran The River’s Edge Trail that follows the Missouri for more than 20 miles. Along the trail you can see Black Eagle Falls, fly fishermen, and Fish Hatchery.
after birthday shopping for my bf at Gulf Coast Town Center, I came home and made cookies for him and his office. later on we found ourselves in Naples staring at hundreds of crabs practicing yoga. We drank a cold beer at a Buzz’s Lighthouse Resturant/Motel and then dined at PF Changs. Its only date number 2 but I think that they’re getting better and better.
