Hello Madison, WI

Traveled to Madison, WI last night. What a drive 2 hrs from La Crosse the only highlight was the MOBIL gas station with a wide selection on John Deere tractors. Super antsy to get on the road and travel to Roatan Honduras tomorrow the journey begins!!!

La Crosse WI

I woke up today in La Crosse WI, another sleepy town. I am beginning to think that all of WI is sleepy little towns strung together by cheese and the MISSISSIPPI river.  Had lunch at Fayze’s restaurant located in historic La Crosse. Good sandwich’s and quaint little bakery. My coworker was given a wal-mart looking smiley cookie for the servers small mistake of messing up his order. After lunch I walked this sleepy town and counted 32 bars in a 4 block radius, looks tempting. I stumbled across several huge 9 ft tall Herons on my short visit to Lacrosse, designed by local artists they litter the streets, you are bound to run into one and when you do you will be delighted. Be sure to admire these stuctures up close, they are covered in small details and mosaic style. My nose directed me in The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor, although I was tempted by the homemade treat and huge candy jars, I refrained myself…maybe I won’t next time. Spent some time wandering the Pearl Street Bookstore lost myself in travel books, in search for the perfect book for my upcoming vacation!!!!
